The Engineer or any representative of the Owner shall have power to give notice to the Bidder or to his staff, of non-approval of any work or materials and such work shall be suspended or the use of such materials shall be discontinued until the decision of the Owner. Such examinations shall not in any way exonerate the bidder from the obligations to remedy any defects which may be found to exist at any stage of the work or after the same is completed.
