An Eligible Survivor is not a Member of this Plan, but is a beneficiary who receives benefits under this Plan with respect to a Participant or Member.
Prohibition Against Assignment No benefit payable from the Plan to any Member or Eligible Survivor or any other person shall be subject in any manner to anticipation, alienation, sale, transfer, assignment, pledge, encumbrance, or charge, and any attempt to anticipate, alienate, sell, transfer, assign, pledge, encumber, or charge the same shall be void.
Nothing in this Plan shall prohibit a Member or Eligible Survivor from voluntarily agreeing to the assignment of benefits payable under this Plan.
