Section 109. 14 Employees on layoff status shall file their addresses in writing with the personnel office of the District 15 and shall thereafter promptly advise the District in writing of any change of address.
Section 109. 34 In the event of layoff, employees so affected are to be placed on a reemployment list maintained by the 35 District according to layoff ranking. Such employees are to have priority in filling an opening in the 36 classification held immediately prior to layoff. Names shall remain on the reemployment list for 37 eighteen (18) months.

Section 109. 45 The District shall publicize within the bargaining unit for five (5) working days the availability of open 46 positions as soon as possible after the District is apprised of the opening. A copy of the job posting 47 shall be forwarded to the President of the Association and to the Association representative of the 48 classification concerned.
Section 109. District shall publicize within the bargaining unit for five (5) working days the availability of open 30 positions, new positions, and positions within pilot programs as soon as possible after the District is 31 apprised of the opening. A copy of the job posting shall be forwarded to the President of the 32 Association and to all Building Representatives. The Association shall advise the District, and keep 33 current the names and home addresses of those employees designated as building representatives. 34 35 Section 10.9.1. Reclassification.
Section 109. 34 An employee shall forfeit rights to reemployment as provided in Section 10.8 if the employee does not 35 comply with the requirements of the Article, or if the employee does not respond to the offer of 36 reemployment within five (5) calendar days if the offer of reemployment is made during the school year 37 or during the two (2) weeks prior to the start of the school year. If the offer of reemployment is made 38 when school is not in session, or more than two (2) weeks prior to the start of the school year, the 39 employee shall have ten (10) calendar days to respond.
