Architect Engineers Basic Services. The Architect/Engineer shall provide design and construction administrative services necessary to complete in a timely and professional manner the specified public works project. These services are more fully described in this Section, and in Exhibit A, Scope of Work. The basic services of the Architect/Engineer include providing Normal Consulting and Engineering Services, Estimated Project Construction Costs, responses to Trustee directions with respect to the project, assisting the Trustees in obtaining required approvals for the construction of the project and preparing project Record Documents.
Architect Engineers Basic Services. 1.1.1 Basic Services to be provided by the Architect/Engineer (“A/E”) shall consist of the activities and stages set forth in Article 2 through Article 8, inclusive, and include, but are not limited to, normal architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape design and engineering services for the Project, any necessary signage and graphics, and any services necessary to comply with the ORC Section 3379.10 Percent for Arts Program.
Architect Engineers Basic Services. 3.1 The Architect-Engineer agrees to provide professional Basic Services for the Project as hereinafter set forth, unless otherwise set forth in writing by Owner's Contracts Administrator in an Amendment to the Agreement and agreed to by both Parties.

  • Architect 3.1 The Architect shall represent the District during the Project and will observe the progress and quality of the Work on behalf of the District. Architect shall have the authority to act on behalf of District to the extent expressly provided in the Contract Documents and to the extent determined by District. Architect shall have authority to reject materials, workmanship, and/or the Work whenever rejection may be necessary, in Architect’s reasonable opinion, to ensure the proper execution of the Contract Documents. 3.2 Architect shall, with the District and on behalf of the District, determine the amount, quality, acceptability, and fitness of all parts of the Work, and interpret the Specifications, Drawings, and shall, with the District, interpret all other Contract Documents. 3.3 Architect shall have all authority and responsibility established by law, including title 24 of the California Code of Regulations. 3.4 Developer shall provide District and the Construction Manager with a copy of all written communication between Developer and Architect at the same time as that communication is made to Architect, including, without limitation, all RFIs, correspondence, submittals, claims, change order requests and/or proposed change orders.

  • Engineering Forest Service completed survey and design for Specified Roads prior to timber sale advertisement, unless otherwise shown in A8 or Purchaser survey and design are specified in A7. On those roads for which Forest Service completes the design during the contract, the design quantities shall be used as the basis for revising estimated costs stated in the Schedule of Items and adjusting Timber Sale Account.
